Diavolo Dance Theater

Diavolo Dance Theater (also known as Diavolo) is an American dance company founded by Jacques Heim in 1992. The company’s movement style encompasses modern dance, acrobatics, and gymnastics. Diavolo has been based in Los Angeles ever since its founding, and has toured across the United States as well as Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Diavolo Dance Theater performs acrobatic and modern dance movement set on a variety of oversized structures. Diavolo’s Repertoire includes: Catapult (1999), Foreign Bodies (2007), Fearful Symmetries (2010), Transit Space (2012), and Fluid Infinities (to premiere in 2013).
