Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles

Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles was founded in 2011 by artistic director Kareli Montoya. The company presents traditional Folklorico dancing throughout the Los Angeles area at venues such as the Nokia Theater, John Anson Ford Amphitheater, Greek Theatre, Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and more.

The mission of the Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles is to preserve the traditions of our ancestors through the art of traditional Mexican folklore, while providing a positive environment where its members can express themselves through dance. This company strives to educate its members, the community, and audiences regarding the richness and beauty of Mexico’s history and traditions.
