Judith Alter

Judith B. Alter M.A.T. & Ed.D. Harvard School of Education, Emerita UCLA Associate Professor in the World Cultures and Cultures/Dance Department. She taught at Tufts University and University of Wisconsin Madison from 1975 to 2000. She also taught graduate research on Fulbright teaching fellowship in Portugal.

Her published works include: Dancing and Mixed Media (New Studies in Aesthetics) (Aug 1994), Stretch and Strengthen (Feb 1992), Dance-Based Dance Theory: From Borrowed Models to Dance-Based Experience (Jul 1991),
