Donald Bradburn

Donald Bradburn is a dance photographer, dancer, and choreographer. As one of the leading dance photographers in Southern California, he has published over 350 photographs in Dance Magazine and has served as the magazine’s Southern California correspondent. In 2001, his work was featured in a special exhibit, “Donald Bradburn: Ballet in Los Angeles—A Moment in Time.” at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex as part of BalletFest 2001. He is also the official photographer of Los Angeles Ballet.

Bradburn studied under Eugene Loring at Lorings American School of Dance in Los Angeles. He went on to be the Artistic Director of Fresno Ballet, Co-Founder and Artistic Director of California Ballet Theatre, and directed his company Don Bradburn Dancers. He also taught at University of California, Irvine and Cal Arts and in 1993 helped to found the first university dance program in Russia.
